淡淡学英语（六）……包包的种类

昨儿淘了一个晚宴包，总觉得是应该有个什么说法……回来查单词，结果词霸上竟然没有，而google翻译给的就是个evening bag这样毫无技术含量的说法，俺还纠结了好一阵，后来果然还是wiki大神出面摆平了这个事……而包包，显然也不是我印象中的purse和handbag这么简单而已……顺着wiki给出来的单子，翻一翻，记一记……时尚白痴的扫盲工作是要多艰巨有多艰巨……

1.Baguette - a small, narrow, rectangular shape purse, resembling a French loaf of bread (baguette)
小个的方形包，FENDI家超级多，下面这个是prada的

2.Barrel - shaped like a barrel or closed tube, usually with shoulder-length straps
圆筒包，通常有背带

3.Bowling bag purse - a popular 1990s "retro" style for younger women, modelled after American bags used to carry bowling balls
保龄球包，所以最早其实就是用来装保龄球的……-_-b

4.Bucket bag - shaped like a bucket, medium-size or large, with shoulder straps and a drawstring closure
马桶包……

5.Clutch - a handbag without handles, rectangular in shape, often an evening bag but used during the day as well
抓包，握包？反正就是拿在手里没有把的包包……

6.Doctor's bag - modelled after a Victorian era doctor's bag for making housecalls
医生包……很多很多年以前医生用的包包就是这个样子的

7.Drawstring - a purse that closes with a drawstring at the top, may have wrist- or shoulder-length straps, popular as an evening bag style
抽带包……其实不就是马桶包么？？

半月包？

9.Hobo - medium-size crescent-shaped bag with a top zipper and often a slouch or dip in the centre; a modern, casual silhouette
手提包……似乎就是最常见的手提包

10.Messenger bag - one long strap worn across the body, inspired by bags worn by urban messengers to deliver business mail, a modern silhouette
单肩书包……好像男生背的比较多

11.Minaudière - a small rectangular evening bag, usually hard-bodied, sometimes held inside a soft fabric bag that serves as a sleeve
晚宴包……所以查不到啊……因为是法语又……-_-b

12.Muff - a winter bag made of real or faux fur, wool or velvet that has zippered compartments and a slip opening for hands
毛包……毛茸茸的包包

13.Pocketbook - small purse, rectangular shape
方形小包……不知道是不是就是长夹？

14.Saddle purse - shaped like a horse saddle, may have equestrian motifs and hardware to emphasize the design
马鞍包……

15.Satchel - a soft-sided case usually of leather, with a top zipper and a wide, flat bottom; has two short handles and often also has a detachable strap
单肩/斜挎/手提包……肩带通常可调……据说这个包和messenger bag的区别在于肩带的长短……好吧，我时尚无能，无法辨别

16.Tote - medium to large bag with two straps and an open top
无拉链大包……

17.Trapezoid - shaped as a trapezoid, usually made of stiff material
梯形包……如果是等腰直角梯形的话就变成方包了吧……哈哈
